The Mizil Standard
(The Fictions Of The Measurments)

Description:
„The Project The Mizil Standard (Of Measurments Fictions) The Mizil Standard is an alluvial, mosaic like, experimental book. Over the territory of a country, we superimpose the territory of the tiny place, lost and cursed, to develop big, strong obsessions, historical, political, literary fictions. The mockery assigned ex officio to a particular place - Mizil, in our case - is documented by a succession of texts indifferent to categories or species, resulting in a montage, a recipe to be applied to any other place. We have summoned in this journey through literature, history, press and more or less domestic writings a series of authors who pace our progress: Cilibi Moise, IL Caragiale, George Ranetti, Hortensia Papadat-Bengescu, Simion Săveanu, I. A. Bassarabescu, Ionel Fernic, Ioachim Botez, Filip Brunea-Fox, Geo Bogza, George Călinescu, Ștefan Bănulescu, Agatha Grigores cu-Bacovia, Petre Strihan.” (Cosmin Manolache, translated by Sebastiaans)

My own contribution to the book is a short chapter called "The Triangular Looming of a Day" - Pages 50-54
..describes the roaming feeling of a trio, Iova, Manolache, Sebastian throung the foggy reality of Mizil one day in 2016. A road trip kind of blabber, a trip with no real scope but with a distinct subject.
